Lens Day: Sunshine

This week’s LensDay theme is ‘Sunshine’.  This is my little chocolate fawn Chihuahua Bella.  She’s quite the Sun worshiper.  She knows the “sun spots” in our house.  All she needs to hear is, “Bella, sun!”, and she dashes off to find it.  She loves its.  She looks for it.  She gets upset when she can’t have it.

These photos were taken in our old house.  By the back door window was her favorite sunbathing hangout.  Since moving into a new house she’s not as happy with the new sun situation.  We still open the window coverings to let her sun in but most of the areas have wood floors, not the cozy carpeting she’s used to.

See, she has a thing about hard floor surfaces.  She does not like to sit or lie on them.  “Bella sit!”, and she’ll scurry to the nearest soft spot and then sit.  So she’ll reluctantly sit on the floor basking in the sun as best she can, hoping one of us will come along and place her blanket down in the sun spot so she can properly enjoy it.
