About
I am a treasure hunter, an alchemist, a steward of forsaken objects, images, and moments.
I employ various mediums (photography, jewelry, mixed media) to capture, transform, and preserve these scavenged artifacts.
This is where I chronicle some of my creative processes, display various works, share treasures and resources.
Good Things: Old books, architecture, photographs, cameras, ephemera, metal objects, rosaries, medals, and jewels. Cemeteries, churches, flea markets, privacy, ribbons, fabrics, birds, deer, trees, herbs, essential oils, fresh fruit, hot tea, cafe con leche, and dark chocolate.
Bad Things: Spending a lot of time on the computer (hurts my arm), processed/chemically-altered foods, synthetic fragrances, cold weather, hot weather, crowds, my name mispronounced/misspelled (just call me Lola).
Loved Things: My family (including two dogs), my friends, my home, the many blessings in my life.
Thank you for visiting, I appreciate your interest.
